LOGSDON WEDDING | WINTER BACKYARD WEDDING | CORYDON, INDIANA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Elizabeth and Matt tied the knot in an intimate outdoor wedding in late January. After the Covid-19 curveball, the couple decided to move forward with a small ceremony in place of their big wedding dreams and have a larger celebration when restrictions loosen. Their picture perfect day proved that they made the right decision.

One of the major perks to choosing a micro ceremony was that Matt and Elizabeth got to enjoy their full day side by side. They got ready together, Elizabeth slipping into a gorgeous, lace lined Pink Blush gown choosing to save ‘the dress’ for their larger celebration later.

We met in downtown Corydon for some pre ceremony shots. They braved the cold as we captured some fun moments before heading to Elizabeth’s dad’s house where the intimate ceremony was held. Before just a handful of their family, Matt and Elizabeth made their forever promises to one another. Judging by the look in their eyes as they took their vows, this micro ceremony was every bit as special to them as it would have been with all the bells and whistles.

Once they were officially pronounced husband and wife we took off for some romantic sunset photos, turning this stunning day into a forever memory. A small reception followed where Elizabeth and Matt celebrated their new marriage with just as much joy and gratitude as any couple before them. Although they are still very much looking forward to a full sized celebration in the near future, their wedding day was such a full celebration of their love as they enter their next chapter husband and wife.
