A branding session can be a game changer for a small business. Prospective clients get the chance to see and experience a business and their products and services which can create a bond between customer and business owner before they ever meet in person! For Susan, this branding session was her chance to build trust, highlight professionalism, and even showcase a little bit of her fun side for her business Skintuition.
In Susan’s own words ‘Skintuition is a skincare boutique for hardworking women who want to see real results with their skin while feeling hopeful and confident along the journey.’ Based in Louisville, Skintuition is founded on a policy of honesty, trust, and personal care. Susan’s desire is that every woman who walks into her boutique will feel heard, understood, and confident in her skincare needs.
For this branding session we sought to create a somewhat moody yet professional style that made Susan look both approachable and trustworthy as an esthetician. We focused on getting multiple headshots in the store, showing Susan in her natural element and pulling double duty by highlighting the simple, classic look of the boutique.
To further showcase the heart behind Skintuition we captured some environmental shots of Susan in action giving a facial. This allowed for more dynamic photos in place of the standard headshot and gave her more options as far as branding goes.
This session was a lot of fun: capturing both functional headshots and versatile action shots. With a woman like Susan behind this company, I have no doubts that Skintuition will become the number one skin care clinic in Louisville in no time.
