Talk about a wedding for the books! This bride and groom combined vintage and modern details to create such a romantic wedding day. Barbara Raye and Zach took the time to design their own invitations and save the date stationary as well as hand constructed the copper arch they were married under! As if that wasn't enough to do in the planning department, they also had a vision of their wedding day and made it reality with their venue selection!
We began the day at the Galt House Hotel as the bride and groom got ready. We then met for their first look photos in the Belvedere area right outside the hotel. This area was dynamic and added great texture to these photos. The downtown atmosphere allowed for plenty of dimension and the bustling grey background highlighted the groom in his sharp black suit and the bride in her bright white wedding gown.
After taking a few downtown photos with the wedding party, we headed to their "official" wedding venue at Patrick O'Shea's Penthouse and Rooftop Lounge. This venue was perfect for Barbara Raye and Zach. The romantic lobby provided the perfect place for us to take portraits and as we continued to the rooftop ceremony, it opened up with a modern feel that combined intimacy and elegance. Each detail of the day was filled with romance and the venue supported Barbara Raye and Zach's vision effortlessly. I hope these photos help them preserve just how wonderful their wedding day was for everyone involved!
