Mia and Bailey tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on a crisp August afternoon. Their wedding day was set to the backdrop of the naturally sunsoaked Broadus chapel and the bright greens of Louisville, Kentucky’s late summer trees.
Four years ago Mia took a chance and reached out to a boy she’d never met. Judging by the look in Bailey’s eyes when she walked down the aisle to him, that little piece of courage paid off. She looked stunning in an elegant gown with pearl buttons trailing down the full skirt from Bella’s Bridal in Hoover, Alabama. There’s no question that Bailey loved it given that he was the one who picked it out!
The day was packed with unique, personal touches. After getting to know Mia I shouldn't have been surprised that she had created the antique decorations and vocal pieces herself! Environmentally conscious, she wanted to be sure that her wedding day would leave a minimal carbon footprint. Her gorgeous wooden table settings were compostable and each guest left with a plant instead of a traditional favor. Mia and Bailey’s wedding managed to look professionally done while honoring their values as a couple and staying ninety nine percent plastic free! She even put her dad to work, designing and building a custom arbor and reception table for the newlyweds.
Mia and Bailey’s wedding was beautiful from start to finish. From the solemn, symbolic foot washing to the glowing sparkler exit this couple had a wedding day to remember!
