Brittany and Cory said ‘I do’ on a summer evening at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Indiana. The couple first met in middle school where they talked everyday despite going to different schools. It wasn’t until their junior year of high school that that friendship developed into more and here they are nearly a decade later tying the knot!
Cory got down on one knee on Christmas eve in 2018 in front of both of their families. It was a special moment as this long time love story started a new chapter! After a year and a half of preparing for their wedding, they got to see their vision come to life this past July.
After getting ready with her bridesmaids, Brittany slipped into a gorgeous, open backed lace gown just in time to surprise Cory for their first look. Judging by their smiles, this long awaited moment didn’t disappoint! They took a few moments to read each other letters before pausing for some unforgettable bridal shots. The bridal party posed together, showering the new bride and groom in happy smiles and lifelong memories and then headed over to the church boasting a natural glow of afternoon sunshine that perfectly complemented the joy of the day. The bride and groom made their covenant promises to one another, took communion, and received prayers of blessings before sharing an intimate first kiss as husband and wife.
Soon after, it was party time! Brittany’s hand made signs and flowers were on full display at the reception with every lilac detail perfectly in place! As the guests enjoyed some chocolate fondue, Cory and Brittany snuck away in Huber’s orchard and winery fields for a few more bridal shots in the soft glow of golden hour.
The reception was the perfect blend of memorable sweetness and joyful celebration from the special firsts to the spontaneous dance parties. This day that was almost a decade in the making was somehow just as beautiful as the love story it celebrated! Here's to many happy years for Brittany and Cory as they begin a new chapter as husband and wife!
