Elizabeth and Matt met on St Patrick's day through mutual friends. From the first smile, they both knew they were on to something special. A year and a half later of bonding over March Madness, finding favorite local restaurants, and enjoying a good dive bar with live music whenever they got the chance, they were ready to take their relationship to the next level! Matt surprised Elizabeth by getting down on one knee last September. There may have been (definitely was) a lot of happy tears as she gave her ‘yes’! 

The couple wasn’t sure they wanted to do an engagement session, but after a day of exploring together and glimpsing the photos we captured they’re so glad they did! In preparation for their wedding theme, a mix of romantic and vintage vibes, Elizabeth donned a floor length floral gown and we took advantage of the beautiful architecture in the area to capture some fun shots. Despite the humidity, the shoot was absolutely gorgeous: full of natural light and happy smiles and highlighting Matt and Elizabeth’s easygoing natures! 

With their wedding day quickly approaching, Matt and Elizabeth got the chance to capture the special season of engagement for all that it is- a sweet transition from the fun, carefree days of boyfriend and girlfriend to the committed, deeply joyful days of husband and wife.
