ROBINSON WEDDING | The Pointe | Louisville, Kentucky Wedding Photographer
Mitchell and Lauren tied the knot in May 2020 during the Covid driven shut down. Both front line workers, they chose not to wait until the restrictions had eased up just in case the worst happened. One year later they got to celebrate their wedding in front of all their family and friends.
Lauren got ready with her girls before sharing a sweet first look with her dad and bridesmaids. The moment was extra special because none of her friends were able to witness her say “I do” the first time!
Meanwhile, Michell enjoyed a fun morning with his guys, getting decked out in crisp navy suits and dusty rose ties. After some fun groomsmen shots, he headed to the venue site where the vow renewal was set to take place.
Mitchell and Lauren chose to forgo a first look and instead savored the moment when Mitchell first glimpsed his wife walking down the aisle: choosing him all over again a year into their marriage. Both of their smiles were radiant as they recited the vows they have been living faithfully for the past year and promised to continue their entire lives long.
After the ceremony, we snuck away for some bridal photos. Those captured moments were stunning, creating a lifelong memory that Mitchell and Lauren can one day share with their kids as a special memento of love in a crazy year of history.
The reception was dreamy with strung lights and rose gold details. The night was full of joy and laughter as Mitchell and Lauren danced and celebrated their marriage surrounded by their closest family and friends who couldn’t be there last time.
After such a unique experience- getting married in the midst of Covid- Mitchell and Lauren wanted this day to focus more on marriage than the wedding itself. Although every wedding day detail was beautiful, the love they have for one another definitely shone brightest of all.
