Talk about a day full of excitement and personality! I was so excited when Emily contacted me about photographing her wedding day. When we met, they shared all of the elements they wanted to be a part of their wedding day including bride and groom preparation photos, their first look moments, ceremony and dinner reception. There were so many intricate details they had decided to incorporate into their big day that I could not wait to be a part of it! Weddings like this allow me to capture the full "story" of the day and also keep me on my feet trying to document every second!
Their wedding style was inspired by the groom's heritage. After we took photos of the bride and groom getting ready, we headed to the ceremony. It was absolutely gorgeous. The bride and groom has a Lazo Rosary laid on their shoulders and exchanged gold coins. There were tons of other special moments unique to this couple and their culture and faith. I felt privileged being able to share these special moments with them.
Then, as they exited on the steps of the church, they were greeted by a celebratory Mariachi band! I was impressed with their coordination and all of the little moments that were embraced so fully by their family and friends in attendance. The love and laughter extended into the evening as they enjoyed homemade Mexican food and the brides favorite drink, Summer White Melon Sangria.
It was like I couldn't take enough photos to capture everything going on. I was in love with how their gallery turned out and I hope they are as well. They had so much culture and love packed into their wedding day, it is exciting to know that this is only the beginning of their story!
