True high school sweethearts are hard to come by! There are so many ups and downs throughout high school that it is fun to hear of a couple who makes it through those years and beyond. These two are true high school sweethearts! Brittany and Cory met in the 7th grade and while they went to different schools, they kept in contact and dated starting their Junior year of high school. Their love continued and flourished for over 7 years until Christmas Eve, 2018. Years of dating had led to this big moment and Cory asked Brittany if she would be his wife! Obviously, she said "Yes!"
Their engagement session went flawlessly. I was blown away at how prepared and relaxed these two were when we got to Bernheim Forest. They were so comfortable with each other that I hardly had to direct them through poses as all. Bernheim Forest was a great location for these two because it had so much variety. There was plenty of open space for them to dance through the wildflowers as well as more intimate locations by the river that helped each of them stand out against the darker background.
I was so excited when we got to the wildflower fields. Brittany and Cory had a couple of different outfit changes and each change worked so well with our location! I tried to capture the best lighting and still frames as they danced together and was thrilled how natural they were in front of the camera. I wasn't sure if it was their many years of dating or their individual personalities, but they rocked their engagement session! I am so excited for this couple to get married and hope these photos will help document their love for each other during this very special time in their lives!
