From the moment I met Sydney and Jamie, I could tell that this was not their first rodeo. As parents already, they fully knew what was coming and their excitement showed. The glow radiating from these two was beautiful. Sydney was so daring and willing to get in the water. Despite it being a little chilly at first, it was the perfect setting for these two and Sydney's dress was absolutely stunning! The sheer fabric at the bottom of both dresses she wore floated seamlessly through the water and created just enough tension that we could see Sydney's sweet baby bump!
Water photo shoots can be a little challenging. Water adds another element clients have to think about and sometimes it can be overwhelming but these two were amazing. Sydney and Jamie connected with each other right when they stepped in the water and were able to forget about all the extra elements! We had so much fun switching between outfits and testing out new accessories from hats and necklaces to full outfit changes.
One of the coolest things that Sydney and Jamie shared with me was that with this pregnancy, they were not finding out the gender of the baby. I think that is awesome! While I love reveal parties and the excitement before the baby arrives, I think that finding out on delivery day would be one of the most anticipated and exhilarating surprises! I could sense their anticipation as we talked and as they counted down the days until the baby's arrival! I loved meeting this couple and was so happy to be able to capture the glow they had as they awaited the arrival of their newest addition to their family. I hope that all goes well on delivery day and can't wait to hear if they will be celebrating with pink or blue!
