Meet Lauren
Capturing love stories since 2011
- I’ve been a Louisville, KY wedding photographer since 2011. Since then I've shot over 300 weddings and a similar number of engagement sessions.
- I graduated from Ivy Tech with a degree in visual communications.
- I currently have two cats and I’ll adopt any cat that visits my house too many times.
- I love to garden and I’m currently pursuing master gardener training from Purdue.
- I love to travel. I’ve been to Ireland many times and I’ve also traveled to Greece, Turkey, Italy and Scotland.
- I don't like coffee or tea but I will meet you at a coffee shop... they smell nice and cake pops are good.
Hi, I’m Lauren! A Bit ABout Me . . .
Becoming a photographer wasn't my plan. My photography journey started in college with a commercial studio class I hated—very boring—and a camera I didn't really want (and couldn't afford–thanks Dad!) to buy. Imagine products on white backgrounds and being told to make them look interesting, make them "sellable"...hated it. It wasn't until I went rogue on the assignments and started using models in my product shots that I started to actually enjoy what I was doing.
Long story short, I graduated with a degree in Visual Communications (concentration in photography), started my business in 2011 while still in school and then became a full time wedding photographer in 2015.
