We can’t say thank you enough for delivering SUCH a beautiful gallery! You captured all the love and joy we felt that day just perfectly. I think some of my favorite photos came from the in-between moments. I can’t stop looking at our gallery and I feel weepy with joy every time I see these photos. You nailed it. Thank you so much!

You’re not just hoping for a few great portraits. You want to look back and feel the day again. The quiet before the ceremony. Your friends laughing while you’re getting ready. The way your dad’s voice shakes just a little. The energy on the dance floor when everyone finally lets go.
You care about the details, not because they’re trendy, but because they mean something to you. You’ve thought about your day. Who you’ll spend the morning with. Whether you want a first look or to wait.
Your wedding isn't about orchestrating the perfect photo shoot. It’s about having your favorite people around you and celebrating this moment with them. And while celebrating, you want to stay present. You want a photographer experienced enough to guide where needed and aware enough to let the day unfold naturally.
That’s where I come in.
We could not be happier with our experience! Lauren and her team did such an amazing job capturing our wedding day. From start to finish, they were professional, friendly, and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. They went above and beyond and they turn around time was surprisingly fast. Not only did they capture all the big moments beautifully, but they also caught so many little candid details that we will treasure forever. The photos turned out absolutely stunning! If you're looking for photographers who are talented, organized, and care about making your day special, look no further. We're so grateful to have them as part of our wedding!

Hi, I’m Lauren!
• I’ve been a wedding photographer since 2011. Since then I've shot over 300 weddings and a similar amount of engagement sessions.
• I graduated from Ivy Tech in 2014 with a degree in visual communications.
• I currently have two cats and I’ll adopt any cat that visits my house too many times.
• I love to garden and I’m currently pursuing master gardener training from Purdue.
• I love to travel. I’ve been to Ireland many times and I’ve also traveled to Greece, Turkey, Italy and Scotland.
• I don't like coffee or tea but I will meet you at a coffee shop... it's fine, they smell nice.
Being intentional when I photograph has always been important to me. Some might call me a type a(ish) personality but, I love to send my couples guides and questionnaires and forms to help them plan and to help me know all about their day. I love meeting, planning and understanding not only what's important to a you but WHO.
I think weddings are mostly about celebrating with the couple but I also think they should be about celebrating with the people who made you who you are. Friends, family and anyone else along your journey to marriage who made an impact. That's why they're invited, right?
I know you want beautiful photos of you and your partner. To some extent all couples have that same goal.
"GET GORGEOUS PHOTOS"
But you are more unique than that common goal and your relationships are too.
So when I photograph your wedding I'm there to not only get "gorgeous wedding photos" but also to capture that moment of your grandparents winning the anniversary dance. Those moments just after the ceremony where everyone is crying and celebrating because “you did it!” The tears as your family and friends watch you get married.
My goal on your wedding day, is to not only capture how the day looked but how it made you feel. When I understand you and what you value that's when your images go from "wedding photos" to intentional storytelling.
Photography and Design by Lauren was great to work with. Lauren was very professional and the photos turned out really nicely. The package was great value and the prints I ordered were beautiful. She got INCREDIBLE sunset beauty shots as well as really lovely candids from the dance floor, which I had told her was a priority. I also had told her that previous photographers I had worked with for my Covid-era ceremony had not done well with capturing darker skin tones and made everyone look washed out, and she was mindful about posing us in lighting that wouldn’t recreate that. I was happy with the experience and I even recommended her for my cousin’s wedding (whose photos were also beautiful!)

This is where we build trust.
Most couples tell me they feel awkward in front of the camera. By the end of their engagement session, they’re laughing and saying it was way easier than they expected.
You learn how I guide you. I learn how you naturally interact. By the time your wedding day arrives, photos feel comfortable, not forced.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience with Lauren! We were in a bit of a pinch, needing an engagement photographer last minute, and Lauren came through with flying colors. From the moment we reached out, she was incredibly responsive, accommodating, and eager to help us capture such an important moment. The session was a breeze — she made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, bringing out our natural chemistry and laughter. The photos turned out absolutely stunning! We were blown away by the creativity and attention to detail in every shot. Just Getting Started?
Lexington, Kentucky weddings can look so many different ways, and that’s part of what makes them fun to photograph. From elegant estates and historic venues to scenic outdoor spaces and polished downtown settings, there are so many beautiful places to get married in and around Lexington. As a Lexington wedding photographer, I’ve photographed weddings in a variety of venues and know how things like lighting, layout, and timeline can affect the flow of the day and the photos you’ll end up with.
Take a look at some of my favorite Lexington area wedding venues and explore real wedding days for inspiration.
A The Clerestory at Greyline wedding offers a modern downtown Lexington feel with a clean, open layout and beautiful natural light. Located inside Greyline Station, this venue is a great fit for couples who want something stylish, unique, and a little different from a traditional ballroom or barn. The mix of industrial character and polished design makes it a really versatile space for both ceremonies and receptions.
My favorite things about The Clerestory
• Beautiful natural light throughout the space
• Clean, modern aesthetic that photographs really well
• Great option for couples wanting a downtown Lexington wedding
• Unique without feeling too trendy
• Easy to keep the day all in one place
A Castle & Key wedding is one of the most visually striking wedding experiences in Kentucky. With historic stone architecture, lush gardens, and beautifully maintained grounds, it’s a venue that already feels special before you add anything to it. If you want a wedding day that feels romantic, elevated, and full of character, Castle & Key is such a standout location.
My favorite things about Castle & Key
• The stone architecture is absolutely gorgeous in photos
• The gardens add so much variety for portraits
• It feels upscale and unique without needing a lot of extra décor
• So many beautiful backdrops in one location
• It has a really memorable Kentucky feel
A Buffalo Trace wedding is perfect for couples who want a venue with history, personality, and true Kentucky character. Located in Frankfort, this iconic distillery offers a one-of-a-kind backdrop with brick buildings, historic charm, and a setting that feels both timeless and distinctive. It’s a great option for couples who want something meaningful and visually interesting without going the traditional route.
My favorite things about Buffalo Trace
• So much historic texture and character
• The brick and distillery setting make photos feel really unique
• It has a strong Kentucky identity
• Great for couples who want something less expected
• A really memorable setting for guests too
A Heartland of Versailles wedding has such a romantic and inviting feel. With beautiful grounds, a charming Victorian home, and a peaceful countryside setting, it’s a lovely option for couples who want an outdoor wedding that feels elegant but still relaxed. It has a soft, classic look that photographs beautifully throughout the day.
My favorite things about Heartland of Versailles
• The grounds are so pretty and versatile
• It has a romantic feel without being overly formal
• The Victorian home adds so much charm
• Great for couples wanting an outdoor wedding with character
• It feels peaceful and tucked away
