Wedding photography for couples who value
The photos that matter most aren’t always the ones you planned. They’re the quick reactions, the people you love together in one place, and the moments unfolding beyond your view. A wedding day lives in more than its scheduled events.
It’s in the quiet before the ceremony, your friends laughing while you get ready, the slight shake in your dad’s voice, and the energy on the dance floor when everyone finally lets go. Even the smallest details hold meaning because they reflect the people, places, and choices that shaped the day. Together, these moments tell a richer story than any perfectly orchestrated photograph could.
That’s the story I want you to remember years from now, not just how everything looked, but how it felt to be surrounded by the people you love most. As your Lexington, KY wedding photographer, my goal is to create photographs that bring you back to those moments every time you see them.
but they also caught so many little candid details that we will treasure forever."

From start to finish, they were professional, friendly, and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. They went above and beyond and they turn around time was surprisingly fast. Not only did they capture all the big moments beautifully, but they also caught so many little candid details that we will treasure forever. The photos turned out absolutely stunning! If you're looking for photographers who are talented, organized, and care about making your day special, look no further. We're so grateful to have them as part of our wedding!

Meet Lauren
Hi, I’m Lauren!
As a Kentucky wedding photographer, I've been photographing since 2010 and have shot over 300 weddings. I'm an unashamed cat lady and lover of gardening. When I'm not photographing weddings you can finding me trying to make something grow, watching my cats slap each other or planning my next trip.
Your wedding is a work of art that’s created in a single day and remembered for a lifetime. Every person, every detail, and every moment adds to your story. My job is to preserve it with photographs that feel just as meaningful years from now as the day you receive them.
was great to work with.
Lauren was very professional and the photos turned out really nicely. The package was great value and the prints I ordered were beautiful. She got INCREDIBLE sunset beauty shots as well as really lovely candids from the dance floor, which I had told her was a priority. I also had told her that previous photographers I had worked with for my Covid-era ceremony had not done well with capturing darker skin tones and made everyone look washed out, and she was mindful about posing us in lighting that wouldn’t recreate that. I was happy with the experience and I even recommended her for my cousin’s wedding (whose photos were also beautiful!)

Two perspectives means more moments captured. While I’m with you during portraits or details, your second photographer might be capturing your partner getting ready, your parents hugging in the hallway, or the quiet reactions happening during your ceremony. It allows your day to be told to be told from a different perspective. Not just how it looked from one angle, but how it felt from every side.
I don’t just show up with a camera. I help you plan too.
With over 300 weddings photographed since 2011, I’ve seen what works and what causes unnecessary stress. I use that experience to guide you through the decisions that actually impact your day.
Through planning guides, questionnaires, and meetings, I find out what matters most to you and help build a photography timeline that supports that. We’ll talk through first looks, family photos, travel time, and how to protect your peace so you can actually enjoy your day.
This is where we get to know each other.
Most couples tell me they feel awkward in front of the camera. (I feel the same way!) By the end of their engagement session, they’re laughing and saying it way more fun than they expected.
You'll learn how I guide you. I'll learn how you naturally interact. By the time your wedding day arrives, we'll all feel comfortable working together and I'll know what direction & prompts work best for you.
She captured every single emotion, feeling through her pictures.
Lauren was amazing to work with! She captured every single emotion, feeling through her pictures. I could not have recommended a better photographer to capture my event and all the people that attended the event. It was truly gorgeous and I felt lucky that she captured those moments that I can look back at!
