An engagement session is about more than just pretty photos.It's a chance for you to get comfortable in front of the camera well before your wedding day. Most couples feel a little nervous at first, and that’s completely normal! Spending this time together helps you get familiar with how I guide and pose, so portraits on the wedding day feel relaxed and easy.
Because the session isn’t tied to a wedding timeline, we can choose a location and pace that feels natural to you, whether that means incorporating a meaningful place or simply having space to slow down and enjoy the experience.

Hi, I’m Lauren!
I’m a Louisville photographer who’s been behind the camera since 2010. I love getting to know the person I’m photographing and creating photos that actually show off who they are, especially when they swear they’re awkward in front of the camera.
I’m also an unashamed cat lady and lover of gardening. When I’m not photographing, you can usually find me trying to make something grow, watching my cats slap each other, or planning my next trip.

Collection I
For seniors who want plenty of variety, this collection gives us time for multiple locations, outfit changes, and different looks throughout the session. It’s a great fit if you want to incorporate different parts of your personality, interests, or style without feeling rushed.
With up to three locations, we can create a gallery with plenty of variety while still keeping the session relaxed.
60-90 Minute Session
$800
Includes 30 digital images with B&W versions, high-resolution downloads, a print release, 20% off graduation announcements, and a $50 print credit.
Collection II
A great middle ground if you want some variety without a longer session. We’ll have time for one or two locations, a couple of different looks, and a mix of photos while keeping things simple.
This is a good fit for most seniors who want a full senior photo experience without needing multiple hours or several locations.
45–60 MINUTE SESSION
$600
Includes 15 digital images with B&W versions, high-resolution downloads, a print release, 20% off graduation announcements, and a $30 print credit.
Collection III
Perfect if you want to keep things short and simple. We’ll stick to one location and focus on getting a smaller collection of senior photos without turning it into a full afternoon.
This is a good option if you only need a few favorites for graduation announcements, the yearbook, and to share with family.
30–45 MINUTE SESSION
$400
Includes 10 digital images with B&W versions, high-resolution downloads, a print release, 20% off graduation announcements, and a $30 print credit.
Collection IV
For seniors who want photos from more than one season, this collection includes two separate sessions during your senior year. Think summer and fall, fall and spring, or any combination that gives you two completely different looks.
With a new season comes different locations, outfits, colors, and scenery, giving you even more variety in your senior photos without trying to fit everything into one session.
TWO 60 MINUTE SESSIONS
$1,400
Includes two 60 minute sessions, 20 digital images per session with B&W versions, high-resolution downloads, a print release, 20% off graduation announcements, and a $50 print credit.
Your photos don’t have to stay on a screen. Select collections include a print credit that can be used toward professional prints ordered directly through your online gallery.
Use it for a few favorites for yourself, prints for family, or something to frame before you head off to whatever comes next.
Print Credit
Your senior photos are delivered in a private online gallery where you can choose the images included with your collection, download them in high resolution, share them with family and friends, and order professional prints.
You’ll also receive a personal print release, giving you the freedom to print your photographs wherever you’d like.

Some photographs simply work differently in black and white, especially the quiet expressions and little details that are so much a part of maternity and newborn sessions.
Every photograph in your gallery is delivered in both color and black and white, so you don’t have to choose between the two.
Black & White Versions of All Images
You don’t have to figure out your senior session on your own. Beforehand, I’ll help you choose locations, talk through outfits, and plan around the overall look you have in mind.
You’ll also receive a senior session guide with tips for preparing, what to wear, and plenty of ideas to help you plan. If you have inspiration photos or something specific you want to incorporate, send them my way and we can build those ideas into your session.
Planning Support & Guidance
The Session
Senior sessions are relaxed, with plenty of direction along the way. You don’t need to show up knowing how to pose or what to do in front of the camera. I’ll help with that while still leaving room for your personality to come through.
Depending on your collection, we’ll have time for different outfits, locations, and looks throughout your session. You’re also welcome to incorporate sports, hobbies, pets, or anything else that feels like an important part of your senior year.

Questions
How far out do we need to book?
Senior sessions tend to fill up fastest in the spring and fall, so I recommend reaching out a few months ahead if you have a specific season or timeframe in mind. If you need photos back by a certain date for the yearbook or graduation announcements, let me know when you inquire.
When do you charge travel fees?
I typically add a travel fee for sessions outside of a 30-mile radius from my home base near Louisville. Fees vary depending on the location, so feel free to ask if you have somewhere specific in mind.Fees vary depending on location so ask us for more details.
We love your work and we’re ready to book! What’s the next step?
Fill out the contact form and let me know which collection you’re interested in. I’ll send over a contract and invoice, and your session is officially reserved once the contract is signed and the 35% non-refundable retainer is paid. The remaining balance is due one week before your session.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Once you’re booked, you’ll receive a senior session guide with plenty of advice for choosing outfits. Depending on your collection, you can bring multiple looks, so you don’t have to choose between dressing up and wearing something that feels more like your everyday style.
What if it rains?
If rain is in the forecast, we’ll either reschedule or adjust the location or timing. I keep an eye on the weather leading up to your session and will stay in touch so we can make the best call together.
CAN I INCLUDE MY PET?
Absolutely. If your pet is coming along, I recommend bringing someone who can take over once we’re finished with those photos so we can easily move on with the rest of your session.
Can we include our pets?
Yes. I love when couples include their pets. I recommend bringing a friend or family member to help once we’ve finished those photos so we can easily transition into portraits of just the two of you.
CAN I INCLUDE A SPORT, HOBBY, OR INSTRUMENT?
Definitely. If there’s something that’s been a big part of your high school years, we can work it into your session. That could mean your sport, an instrument, your car, artwork, or anything else that feels like part of who you are right now.
DO WE NEED A PERMIT FOR CERTAIN LOCATIONS?
Some locations require a photography permit or fee, especially private properties, parks, or gardens. If you have somewhere in mind, let me know and I’ll help figure out what’s required before we finalize plans.
HOW MANY PHOTOS ARE INCLUDED, AND CAN WE PRINT THEM OURSELVES?
The number of digital images included depends on the collection you choose. You’ll select your included favorites from your finished gallery, with the option to purchase additional images if you’d like more. Every selected photograph includes a high-resolution download, black and white version, and personal print release, so you’re free to print them yourself or order professional prints directly through your gallery.
