Louisville, Kentucky wedding photography for couples who value

connection & intentional storytelling

The photos that matter most aren’t always the ones you planned. They’re the quick reactions, the people you love together in one place, and the moments unfolding beyond your view. A wedding day lives in more than its scheduled events.

It’s in the quiet before the ceremony, your friends laughing while you get ready, the slight shake in your dad’s voice, and the energy on the dance floor when everyone finally lets go. Even the smallest details hold meaning because they reflect the people, places, and choices that shaped the day. Together, these moments tell a richer story than any perfectly orchestrated photograph could.

That’s the story I want you to remember years from now, not just how everything looked, but how it felt to be surrounded by the people you love most. As your Louisville, KY wedding photographer, my goal is to create photographs that bring you back to those moments every time you see them.

Frequently asked

Questions

WHAT IS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE?

My style is bright, colorful & timeless with a focus on capturing candid moments throughtout the day.

WHAT IF WE’RE AWKWARD IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA?

That’s completely normal!  Most of my couples tell me they feel awkward at first. I’ll give you enough direction to keep things moving without making you feel overly posed.

HOW MUCH DIRECTION DO YOU GIVE US?

It depends on the moment and on the couple. Some people need a little more direction, while others warm up pretty quickly. I can give as much or as little guidance as you need. For portraits, I’ll help you along so you’re not wondering what to do. During the rest of the day, I step back and take a more documentary approach.

DO YOU INCLUDE AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION?

Yes. An engagement session is included with select wedding collections, and it can also be booked separately.

Do you work with a second photographer?

Yes. For most full wedding days, I include a second photographer. Having a second set of eyes allows us to capture multiple angles, different reactions, and more candid moments throughout the day.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK?

Most couples book 9 to 18 months in advance, especially for popular spring and fall dates. If your wedding is coming up sooner, it’s always worth checking availability.

HOW MANY HOURS OF COVERAGE DO WE NEED, AND WILL YOU HELP US PLAN THE TIMELINE?

Most couples book 6, 8, or 10 hours depending on the size of the wedding, number of locations, and how much of the day they want photographed

Timeline planning is one of the biggest ways I support my couples. After you book, I send helpful planning emails and questionnaires, and about a month before the wedding we’ll go over everything together. I help you build a photography friendly timeline that keeps the day flowing while still leaving space to actually enjoy it.

HOW DO WE BOOK?

Start by reaching out through my contact form. From there, I’ll send over my collection guide and we can schedule a Zoom call to talk through your plans. Your date is officially reserved once your contract is signed and the 35% retainer is paid.

DO YOU TRAVEL?

Yes. I photograph weddings throughout Louisville, Southern Indiana, and surrounding areas, and I’m also available for weddings farther away.

CAN WE SEE COMPLETE WEDDING GALLERIES BEFORE BOOKING?

Absolutely. I’m happy to share full wedding galleries so you can see what an entire day looks like from getting ready through the reception, not just the highlights.
