We can’t say thank you enough for delivering SUCH a beautiful gallery! You captured all the love and joy we felt that day just perfectly. I think some of my favorite photos came from the in-between moments. I can’t stop looking at our gallery and I feel weepy with joy every time I see these photos. You nailed it. Thank you so much!

You’re not just hoping for a few great portraits. You want to look back and feel the day again. The quiet before the ceremony. Your friends laughing while you’re getting ready. The way your dad’s voice shakes just a little. The energy on the dance floor when everyone finally lets go.
You care about the details, not because they’re trendy, but because they mean something to you. You’ve thought about your day. Who you’ll spend the morning with. Whether you want a first look or to wait.
Your wedding isn't about orchestrating the perfect photo shoot. It’s about having your favorite people around you and celebrating this moment with them. And while celebrating, you want to stay present. You want a photographer experienced enough to guide where needed and aware enough to let the day unfold naturally.
That’s where I come in.
"Hiring Lauren as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our big day. From start to finish, she exceeded our expectations in every possible way. The way she told the story of our wedding—from our perspective as a couple and from the perspective of our guests—was nothing short of magical. Each image radiates warmth, joy, and the love we felt that day. Looking through the photos felt like reliving the best day of our lives, and it’s clear that Lauren has a gift for storytelling through her work."

Hi, I’m Lauren!
• I’ve been a Louisville, KY wedding photographer since 2011. Since then I've shot over 300 weddings and a similar amount of engagement sessions.
• I graduated from Ivy Tech in 2014 with a degree in visual communications.
• I currently have two cats and I’ll adopt any cat that visits my house too many times.
• I love to garden and I’m currently pursuing master gardener training from Purdue.
• I love to travel. I’ve been to Ireland many times and I’ve also traveled to Greece, Turkey, Italy and Scotland.
• I don't like coffee or tea but I will meet you at a coffee shop... it's fine, they smell nice.
Being intentional when I photograph has always been important to me. Some might call me a type a(ish) personality but, I love to send my couples guides and questionnaires and forms to help them plan and to help me know all about their day. I love meeting, planning and understanding not only what's important to a you but WHO.
I think weddings are mostly about celebrating with the couple but I also think they should be about celebrating with the people who made you who you are. Friends, family and anyone else along your journey to marriage who made an impact. That's why they're invited, right?
I know you want beautiful photos of you and your partner. To some extent all couples have that same goal.
"GET GORGEOUS PHOTOS"
But you are more unique than that common goal and your relationships are too.
So when I photograph your wedding I'm there to not only get "gorgeous wedding photos" but also to capture that moment of your grandparents winning the anniversary dance. Those moments just after the ceremony where everyone is crying and celebrating because “you did it!” The tears as your family and friends watch you get married.
My goal on your wedding day, is to not only capture how the day looked but how it made you feel. When I understand you and what you value that's when your images go from "wedding photos" to intentional storytelling.
Lauren was absolutely amazing as our wedding photographer!
She made every step as seamless and organized as possible. From the initial consultation to the day-of, Lauren made sure we felt comfortable and heard. She included helpful tips and guidelines for us as well. I appreciate her attention to detail and capturing the special moments of my wedding. I highly recommend working with Lauren!

You'll learn how I guide you. I'll learn how you naturally interact. By the time your wedding day arrives, we'll all feel comfortable working together and I'll know what direction & prompts work best for you.

Lauren truly saved the day for us. After our original wedding photos did not turn out the way we hoped, she stepped in and gave us a second chance to capture the moments we missed. She helped us recreate the experience at our original venue months later and made sure my husband and I finally had the solo portraits we never received on our wedding day. She understood exactly how I wanted to look and feel in my dress and guided us with confidence and professionalism. The final images are stunning. The backgrounds are beautiful, the quality is exceptional, and every photo feels intentional. I did not have my original bouquet, and Lauren thoughtfully created one for me using flowers from her own garden. That level of care meant so much to me. She is organized, calm, and easy to work with. She listens and brings your vision to life. I only wish I had hired her from the start. I highly recommend her to any couple looking for meaningful, high quality wedding photography.

Most couples book 9 to 18 months in advance, especially for spring and fall dates. If you’re getting married during peak season, the sooner the better. That said, if your wedding is coming up sooner, still reach out. I always recommend asking. If I’m available, I’d love to talk.
