TAYLOR + JOHN | FALL ENGAGEMENT SESSION AT THE PARKLANDS

January 4, 2021

Taylor and John first met when he slid into her DMs on Instagram to ask for her number. A few messages back and forth turned into a nervous first date that happily turned into their forever! When it was time to propose, John stayed true to the easygoing yet romantic vibe that categorized their dating years by planning a fun morning of brunch and a Saturday drive. Taylor was so busy enjoying a typical weekend day with her boyfriend that she had no inkling he was getting ready to pop the question until they headed back home and stepped into an apartment filled with rose petals, candles, pictures of them, and a proposal! She was so excited she didn’t even let him get down on one knee before giving her yes! The newly engaged couple headed out to celebrate at a local restaurant and Taylor was surprised yet again when both of their families were there waiting for her. It was a day to remember!

When it came time to shoot their engagement photos, Taylor and John were looking for romantic, fun, and laid back photos. We were able to accomplish it all with a few outfit and scenery changes and a lot of happy, newly engaged smiles!

Taylor’s flowing coral dress was the perfect pop of color against the brown hues of the October afternoon. The husband and wife-to-be twirled across the grass and held each other close for some romantic shots of this special season. Then, with a cream colored dress, fun hat, and cozy blanket, we headed out to find the lush greenery and autumn leaf lined roads for a more laid back but just as picturesque scene. Taylor and John stole the show with every shared smile and lingering look. Capturing their engagement photos was so much fun!
