EMILY + THOMAS | SUMMER ENGAGEMENT SESSION AT ANCHORAGE TRAIL AND TOM SAWYER PARK

Emily and Thomas met through mutual friends in college. A first date breakfast for dinner at Cracker Barrel turned into a forever kind of love just a few years later! For this outdoorsy couple it only made sense that their proposal would take place outside. After a full day of hiking in their hometown of Asheville, Thomas popped the question and Emily was quick to give her yes. There may have even been a few tears!

We took this summer engagement session to the picturesque anchorage trail and Tom Sawyer Park in Louisville, Kentucky. Emily and Thomas danced, played, and laughed their way through the afternoon surrounded by plenty of early summer greenery. Their only request was that some of the pictures would get to feature their dogs, Satchel and Yogi. The pups explored in the tall grass while Emily and Thomas, bathed in the golden glow of a June afternoon, happily chased after them, pausing just long enough for a quick kiss and a happy smile. This session was full of summer sunshine and bright laughter- everything an engagement shoot should be!
