STURGEON WEDDING | A SUMMER BACKYARD WEDDING

July 4, 2020

Kaitlyn and Mark tied the knot on a gorgeous summer day in Kentucky. While the coronavirus may have been an unexpected speed bump to their big day, they didn’t let it stop them from becoming husband and wife. When their plans suddenly unraveled, a family friend offered their 80 acres and Kaitlyn and Mark jumped at the chance!

This backyard wedding boasted a simple elegance from Kaitlyn’s dreamy Bridal Suite of Louisville’s lace dress to every handmade sign and centerpiece. With so many vendors not operating during the pandemic, many brides have had to go without on their big day. Luckily for Kaitlyn, her crafty DIY skills came in handy as she skillfully made each detail come to life- including the sola wood flower bouquets!

The early summer sunshine gave off a bright, happy light against the stunning greenery of the acreage, creating the perfect backdrop of natural beauty to highlight the day. Kaitlyn and Mark were all smiles as they celebrated, minus a tear or two from Mark when he saw his stunning bride for the first time! Although they couldn’t have everyone in attendance they’d once imagined, they were still surrounded by plenty of love and support from their closest family and friends while many more watched via Zoom.

Kaitlyn and Mark’s wedding was picture perfect and proof that nothing, not even a global pandemic, can stop true love.
