I always love photographing weddings. There’s so much love in the air and the bride and groom spent so much time carefully planning all the details. It was not any different for Alicia and Dustin’s wedding, either!
 

The wedding was at the VFW in Latonia, KY and all the lovely details were handcrafted by the bride herself. I think she might have a job waiting in event planning!

I asked Alicia how she and Dustin met and I loved her response –  like their own personal storybook.

“During a overtime day at amazon Alicia spotted Dustin in the break room talking to one of her guy friends.

Curious to who he was she walked up and introduced herself.

Later that day after lunch alicia mustered up the courage to give him her number. But she didn’t just casually hand him it.

she printed a blank gift wrap tag that had a sticky back and wrote down her number.

The next time she saw Dustin she stuck it to his shoulder, he hadn’t noticed she placed it until another worker pulled it off and read it to him.

Later that night they talked about everything under the stars from video games to pets to hobbies and hypothetical situations.

Alicia knew from day one he was her someone special. Dustin soon realized this as well.”

How did he pop the question?

“He did not pop the question. I did.

I made him a cheesy birthday card full of poems I wrote for him along with his gift and a ring taped at the back of the card with a childish check yes or no or maybe spot.

He said yes.”

You could tell they were really loving every minute of their special day.
