Lindsey and Anthony’s Gillespie wedding in the Grand Ballroom was a day that felt genuine from the very beginning. At its core, it was about being together, celebrating with the people who matter most, and enjoying the day as it unfolded.
From the quieter moments early on to a full ballroom later that evening, their wedding felt relaxed and true to who they are.
The morning started calmly, surrounded by family and close friends. From the start, the pace of the day felt steady, which allowed moments to unfold naturally without feeling rushed. Lindsey and Anthony both value time with the people closest to them, and that showed right away.
Rather than being pulled in different directions, they stayed present with what was happening around them. As a result, those early hours created space for real moments and set a comfortable tone for the rest of the day.
Lindsey and Anthony met at the Corydon Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses after Anthony moved from Illinois to be closer to his family. From there, their connection grew easily. Their unofficial first date happened at Waffle House right after meeting, which felt simple, familiar, and very much their style.
Not long after, one of their favorite early memories took place at a Tyler Childers concert, where they shared their first kiss. At the time, it was just a sweet moment. Looking back, it became a meaningful part of their story.
They began dating in September of 2024. Then, just a few months later, Anthony planned a proposal that reflected how well he knows Lindsey. While a winter wedding wasn’t part of the plan, he found another way to bring that vision to life.
His family rented a couple of houses on a golf course for a weekend together. It was snowing, they shared a cozy dinner, and that evening, he proposed. They both cried, which really says everything.
Their ceremony centered on family, faith, and the relationships that have shaped their lives. Throughout the vows, Lindsey and Anthony shared quiet glances that felt sincere and personal.
Nothing about the ceremony felt staged or overdone. Instead, it reflected who they are and what they value as they start this next chapter together.
After the ceremony, the celebration continued in the Grand Ballroom at The Gillespie. The space suited both the size of their guest list and the energy of the evening. Throughout the room, you could feel the support of the people who have been part of Lindsey and Anthony’s journey.
Once the reception began, the focus shifted fully to celebrating. There was dancing, laughter, and the kind of energy that comes from having everyone you love in one place. Throughout the night, Lindsey and Anthony took their time connecting with guests and soaking in the moments as they happened.
What stood out most about this Gillespie wedding was how closely it reflected Lindsey and Anthony as a couple. They care deeply about their people and about each other, and that showed in every part of the day.
From a heartfelt proposal to a meaningful ceremony and a joyful reception in the Grand Ballroom, their wedding felt complete without feeling forced. In the end, it was a day filled with connection, emotion, and moments they’ll carry with them long after the night ended.
